The Pope and the Muslim Leaders
Allow me a little commentary.
It is a sad sign of our times, that the Pope broke a taboo by actually urging Muslims to "educate" their youth (see here). But he's still missing the point: Islam has launched a war of conquest, and we ought to prepare for a fight, not utter empty wishes.
The pope urged "peace", "tolerance", and "mutual respect", as well as religious tolerance. All fine and good your holiness, but still, will they love you in the morning?
Let me explain; when the Muslims feel powerful enough to launch their takeover of Europe, will they urge "peace, tolerance, and mutual respect" towards Christians? Will they respect freedom of religion then? Or will they rather enact whatever version of Sharia is in vogue?
And the sad thing is, Benedict should know better, and probably does. But apparently he prefers to continue our endless lack of discussion, by uttering politically correct platitudes.
Let's not do the same.
